Ineos

Ineos Automotive: Built on Purpose Ineos Automotive was born from a conversation at a London pub called The Grenadier. When Land Rover ceased production of the classic Defender, Sir Jim Ratcliffe (Chairman of petrochemical giant Ineos) identified a gap in the market for a stripped-back, utilitarian 4×4. The result is the Ineos Grenadier, a vehicle engineered to be the world’s most uncompromising off-roader. While it resembles classic off-roaders, the Grenadier is a ground-up modern design manufactured in Hambach, France (formerly a Smart factory). It features beam axles, a ladder-frame chassis, and reliable BMW straight-six engines (gas and diesel). The interior is a masterclass in functional design, featuring chunky physical buttons that can be operated while wearing gloves, and drain plugs in the floor so the interior can be hosed out after a muddy day of work. Uncompromising Utility Off-Road Geometry: Designed with optimal approach and departure angles for extreme terrain. Analog Feel: Prioritizing mechanical durability over unnecessary touchscreens and digital complexity. Customization: An “open source” accessory approach allowing owners to easily bolt on lights, winches, and racks. The Ineos Grenadier is not a fashion statement; it is a tool. It is built for farmers, explorers, and aid workers who need a vehicle that will never let them down. Explore the Grenadier
